How 3 Weeks Become 3 Minutes
With our globally unique digital embroidery workflow, we have developed an innovative and sustainable solution through our own initiative. This solution uses less material, reduces CO2 emissions and makes the development process faster, more efficient and cost-effective.
With the creation of our own tools and techniques, we can now produce digital representations of our embroideries within minutes, providing an accurate depiction of physical samples. This provides an opportunity for our clients to request new versions or colourways within a day during the development phase without the need of producing physical samples in China. This inevitably led to our motto “3 weeks becomes 3 minutes”
Our clients and team benefit daily from the advantages of utilising a 3D workflow which has now become a USP for Forster Rohner Lingerie. However, with the never ending advancement of technology, our digital workflow will always be refined and improved.
From Gaming to Embroidery
Our Head of 3D, Jeffrey Green, originally comes from the United States where he trained and worked in video game production as a 3D artist specifically focusing on texturing. In 2021, he left the world of video games and moved to St. Gallen, Switzerland entering into the world of lingerie. Since then he has been building the 3D department at Forster Rohner Lingerie in close collaboration with Elisheva Senn.
«Although I come from the video gaming industry, this project immediately captivated me. Our goal was to develop a workflow that accurately represents the different materials of the threads in every digital embroidery—such as metallic and regular polyester threads—while also providing an exact visualization of the stitches.»

Digital Prototyping Service
We offer a 3D Bra prototyping service for a select few clients based on sketches or templates they provide. We then can provide a visual representation of a bra in various versions. This makes for easier collaboration, flexibility and modification of the embroidery in the development phase.
